High pressure will remain over eastern Canada and extend southwest
over the region through Wednesday. Meanwhile, weak areas of low
pressure will continue to move northeast from the the Carolinas.
On Thursday, another area of low pressure off the Carolinas is
forecast to intensify as it heads northeast and out to sea. The
circulation around this low will pull a cold front through the
region from the northwest on Thursday night. Gale force winds are
possible Friday into Saturday as cold air moves across the area.
